The Latent Print is an independent online journal of
literature and arts dedicated to upholding a platform
for San Diego talent.
We strive to create a network between known and emergent artists and art forms, via design-driven web content and live events, and to foster existing communities as well as those we continue to discover.
You are the audience, this is your art.
Launched in 2009, The Latent Print began as a late night conversation at the Whistlestop between a filmmaker, a novelist, a poet, a writer, and a designer, all dreamers hoping for an outlet that could contribute to this city’s creative outpouring.
The desire to showcase and highlight friends’ projects has evolved into an inspired commitment to not only archive, but orchestrate new discussion, critique, and collaborations between kindred disciplines.
